About Us

Discover the heart of the Echadi Indigenous Medical Alliance (EIMA).

Vision and Mission Statement

To advance the health and well-being of our members by preserving and practicing Indigenous healing traditions that embrace the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. Through a holistic framework that integrates therapeutic approaches—conventional and non-mainstream—we promote health and wellness by combining the wisdom of Indigenous healers with modern insights. Our mission is rooted in the principles of Article 24 of UNDRIP, ensuring the conservation and ethical application of our traditional medicines, ceremonies, herbs, manipulative therapies, and spiritual practices.

Who We Are

The Echadi Indigenous Medical Alliance (EIMA) is a sovereign, member-driven health organization rooted in the sacred traditions of Indigenous culture. Guided by the principle that health and well-being are intrinsically linked to spirituality, EIMA integrates bio-socio-spiritual approaches to health within a holistic framework. Grounded in Article 24 of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), we preserve the rights of our people to access traditional medicines, ceremonies, and holistic treatments, ensuring that these practices remain vital, respected, and accessible for current and future generations.

Indigenous Holistic health

To be a global leader in Indigenous holistic health, where the sacred bond between spirituality and well-being is honored and celebrated. EIMA envisions a future where:

  • Health practices rooted in bio-socio-spiritual approaches thrive alongside modern therapeutic innovations.
  • The rights to traditional medicines and practices, as outlined in Article 24 of UNDRIP, are upheld and protected.
  • Our members experience vibrant health through personalized care that incorporates herbs, ceremonies, manipulative therapies, and meditation.
  • Indigenous healing traditions are preserved and shared as a source of empowerment and wellness for generations to come.
